In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre tests and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
